Inbox rotation that spreads sends by what each mailbox can take.
Round-robin is fair. Reputation-aware is safe.
Put several sending mailboxes in a pool and Quotarider rotates each sequence across them by remaining safe capacity — not blind round-robin — with a separate ramp, cap and health score per mailbox and per domain.

Inbox rotation is sending one cold email campaign from several mailboxes in turn, so no single mailbox goes over a safe daily volume. It exists because one mailbox cannot safely send a few hundred cold emails a day. Most tools rotate evenly, so a mailbox that has started to bounce keeps getting its share until the whole pool is dragged down. Quotarider rotates by headroom: a healthy mailbox takes more, a struggling one takes less or none, and the guardrail pauses before a pool-wide problem becomes a domain-wide one.
Pools per sequence
Assign a pool of mailboxes to a sequence. Replies thread back to the mailbox that sent the step, so conversations stay with one sender identity.
Rotation by remaining capacity
Each send goes to the mailbox with the most safe headroom right now, given its ramp stage, daily cap, recent bounces and complaints.
Ramp every new mailbox for real
New mailboxes start low and earn capacity with real, capped sends while bounce, complaint and reply rates stay healthy — no warm-up network required.
Domain-level protection
Several mailboxes on one domain share a reputation. The guardrail watches the domain too, and slows every mailbox on it when the domain's signals turn.
Inbox rotation & mailbox pools, and what people also call it
- Email rotation
- Distributing sends across multiple sender accounts to keep each under safe limits.
- Sender rotation
- Another name for inbox rotation, common in agency tools.
- Multiple sending accounts
- Several mailboxes, often on secondary domains, used for one outbound programme.
- Mailbox warm-up
- Gradually raising a new mailbox's volume so providers learn it is legitimate.
- Secondary domains
- Look-alike domains used for outbound to protect the primary domain.
- Daily sending limit
- The per-mailbox cap; Quotarider enforces the lower of your cap and the guardrail's.
We ran it on our own companies first. Then on 55 more.
Quotarider is the outbound stack behind XDQ Labs' other products — the ones that sell into hospitals and the ones that sell to retail investors. It went to customers only after it had protected our own domains for months.
Drapto
Hospital revenue-integrity software. Outbound to procurement and finance heads at hospitals in India — some of the least forgiving inboxes there are. Every sequence Drapto sends runs through the same guardrail you get.
Xflot
An IPO and market-data site. Partner, advertiser and press outreach from a young domain that could not afford to be filtered — ramped the slow way, behind the same guardrail.
Customer names are shared on request and in reference calls, not on a logo wall. We would rather you ask.
Inbox rotation & mailbox pools: questions
How many mailboxes can I rotate?
As many as your plan includes (2 on Starter, 5 on Team, 15 on Growth), with extra mailboxes or mailbox packs available in the app.
Does rotation work with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365?
Yes, and with Zoho and SMTP mailboxes, mixed in one pool if you like.
Do replies go to the right mailbox?
Yes. Each thread stays with the mailbox that sent it, and all replies also land in the shared reply centre.
Do I still need a warm-up tool?
No. New mailboxes ramp with real, capped sends; we deliberately do not run a warm-up network.
What is inbox rotation?
Inbox rotation is sending one cold email campaign from several mailboxes in turn, so no single mailbox goes over a safe daily volume. Quotarider rotates by each mailbox's remaining safe capacity rather than blind round-robin.
Does inbox rotation work?
It spreads volume, which helps — but rotation alone doesn't stop a bad list from hurting every mailbox in the pool. That's why Quotarider pairs it with a per-send risk score that can pause the sequence.
How many cold emails per inbox per day?
Many senders keep cold volume to a few dozen a day per mailbox. In Quotarider a new mailbox starts lower and earns headroom only while bounces and complaints stay clean.
Does Gmail allow inbox rotation?
Yes — rotation happens in your sending tool across separate mailboxes; each Google Workspace mailbox connects with Google sign-in.
