Email warm-up that doesn't send fake conversations from your domain.
Warm-up networks are 50,000 strangers' inboxes talking about nothing. Google can tell.
Quotarider warms a new mailbox the way a real sender would: a low daily cap, real emails to people who might reply, and headroom earned only while bounces, complaints and reply rate stay healthy. No shared network, nothing synthetic, nothing to be flagged.

Shared warm-up networks were a clever hack in 2020: thousands of mailboxes send each other automated messages, open them, reply and pull them out of spam, so receivers see “engagement”. Receivers have since learned what that pattern looks like, and Google's guidance now describes it as a signal. Worse, every mailbox in the pool inherits the reputation of the worst one in it. The alternative is slower and boring — and it works.
The reputation ramp
Every new mailbox in Quotarider starts on a ramp: a daily cap that begins around ten sends and rises step by step over roughly four weeks. The cap moves only while the mailbox's bounce rate, complaint rate and reply rate stay inside thresholds. If a signal moves the wrong way, the ramp pauses at its current cap until it recovers. You cannot skip it and you cannot raise the cap past it.
Real sends, real replies
The first week's sends go to warm contacts — customers, partners, people who will reply — because conversation is the strongest positive signal a receiver can see. Then verified cold contacts in the best-fit segment. Reply to every reply from the same mailbox; the ramp treats that as evidence.
What the guardrail watches during warm-up
Bounces on the last 200 sends. Complaints in Postmaster Tools. Temporary 4xx failures from Gmail and Outlook, which arrive before any bounce and mean you are being throttled. Reply-rate trend as volume rises. Domain age and authentication status. All five feed the Sequence Risk Score that decides each send.
When to add a domain instead of raising a cap
Forty a day per mailbox is a sensible steady state for cold email. If you need more volume, add mailboxes and domains and ramp each one — never push one domain harder. The guardrail will not let you anyway, which is the point.
We ran it on our own companies first. Then on 55 more.
Quotarider is the outbound stack behind XDQ Labs' other products — the ones that sell into hospitals and the ones that sell to retail investors. It went to customers only after it had protected our own domains for months.
Drapto
Hospital revenue-integrity software. Outbound to procurement and finance heads at hospitals in India — some of the least forgiving inboxes there are. Every sequence Drapto sends runs through the same guardrail you get.
Xflot
An IPO and market-data site. Partner, advertiser and press outreach from a young domain that could not afford to be filtered — ramped the slow way, behind the same guardrail.
Customer names are shared on request and in reference calls, not on a logo wall. We would rather you ask.
Email warm-up tool: questions
How long does warm-up take?
About four weeks per mailbox to reach a steady cap of 30–40 a day, assuming bounces stay under 2% and complaints at zero. Slower if the list is poor; there is no faster.
Can I bring a mailbox that was warmed elsewhere?
Yes. It still starts on the ramp — a shorter one if its bounce and complaint history is clean over the first few hundred guarded sends.
Do you support Google Workspace and Microsoft 365?
Google Workspace connects with Google sign-in. Microsoft 365, Outlook, Zoho and any other host connect over SMTP/IMAP, confirmed with a one-time code; Microsoft sign-in is coming. A read-only health check per mailbox shows anything missing and the steps for your provider.
Is there a warm-up-only plan?
The Free plan includes one mailbox with the ramp and guardrail. Most people start there and add sequences when the mailbox is ready.
What is email warmup?
Gradually increasing how much a new mailbox or domain sends, so providers learn its normal behaviour before volume rises.
Does email warmup work?
A gradual ramp does. Warm-up networks that trade synthetic replies are a shortcut providers increasingly recognise — Quotarider ramps with real, capped sends instead.
Is email warm up necessary?
For a new mailbox or domain, a ramp is. Sending at full volume from day one is one of the fastest ways to land in spam.
How long does email warmup take?
Commonly two to four weeks; in Quotarider the cap rises only while bounces and complaints stay under threshold, so the ramp sets its own pace.
